Support Local is an innovative marketing platform developed and founded by Kelly (Dean) Werth. Kelly served as president of a local non-profit while her children were small and began her career in marketing in 2007.

In 2011, Kelly launched her own marketing consulting business working with businesses of all sizes, from large non-profit & profit-oriented international organizations to small local businesses.

During the early stages of the pandemic, Kelly witnessed the hardships many small businesses faced. It was heartbreaking to see these businesses who had supported our communities deeply affected as online shopping spiked. While some businesses adjusted to the new climate others simply couldn’t survive. The need for stronger support of local businesses was greater than ever and inspired Kelly to pursue her vision.

After researching and consulting with community principals and finding the right team to pull this together, Support Local was born. What originated as a marketing concept over a decade ago under the Community Catalyst, LLC (NJ) banner has evolved to a pioneering online platform that efficiently connects local businesses, communities, and non-profits.
